Find The SOIRC Within!
Exploring experience through Research, Education, and Community
Welcome to the Spirit Orb Institute of Research and Communication Society (SOIRC)
SOIRC is a nonprofit society dedicated to documenting, preserving, researching, educating, and communicating our firsthand experiences with spirit orbs through photography, careful observation, artistic expression, education, and mental/evidential mediumship.
Our work begins with experience.
The photographs we share, the stories we tell, the observations we document, and the teachings we develop grow from experiences we have personally lived, witnessed, photographed, recorded, studied, or explored.
When the work or ideas of others contribute to our understanding, we believe in acknowledging them clearly and giving proper credit.
We don’t ask you to begin with a particular belief.
We invite you to look.To explore. To ask questions.
To consider what you see and experience for yourself.
Whether you have photographed spirit orbs for years, experienced something you cannot explain, arrived here through art or spirituality, or simply found yourself curious enough to look a little closer — you are welcome here.

The Orb Collection
A Luminous Showcase of Spirit Orb Photography
Enter a growing collection of original spirit orb photographs captured by Aaron and Jennifer through years of firsthand experience and observation.
These photographs document orbs appearing in extraordinary varieties of form, movement, colour, environment, interaction, and apparent transformation.
Rather than telling you what you must see in these images, we invite you to spend time with them.
Look closely. Notice. Question. Explore. And decide what they mean to you.

A PRINCIPLE THAT GUIDES OUR WORK
Experience First. Integrity Always.
SOIRC is grounded in firsthand experience.
We believe there is an important distinction between what we experienced, what we observed, what we photographed, what we believe may be happening, and what can be independently established as fact.
We intend to honour that distinction.
Our purpose is not to manufacture certainty where certainty does not yet exist.
Our purpose is to document honestly, preserve what we have experienced, continue asking questions, share what we have learned, and create a place where others can explore these experiences thoughtfully for themselves.
That is the spirit of SOIRC.
Observe. Document. Explore. Share.
And perhaps, somewhere along the way…
Find the SOIRC Within.
