About SOIRC
SOIRC is an ongoing body of work exploring the Spirit Orb phenomenon through careful photography, reflective documentation, and respectful engagement. Based in British Columbia, founded by Aaron Turner Jr. and Jennifer Consalvo, the project brings together years of field practice, comparative observation, and visual storytelling. Rooted in curiosity and care, the work aims to invite wonder, while honouring ethical boundaries. Our commitment is to approach the unknown with integrity, to minimize assumptions, to center respect for people and spaces, and to be transparent about methods and limits. What you can expect is awe-inspiring imagery, clear notes about context, and an open yet grounded invitation to explore.
SOIRC is a community group, not a scientific research institution. Our work is not peer reviewed.
