The Spirit Orb Institute of Research and Communication Society was created to document, preserve, explore and share firsthand spirit orb experiences — and to build something capable of carrying that work into the future.
That takes more than curiosity.
It takes cameras and equipment. Digital storage and archival systems. Website and technology costs. Educational materials. Events and programs. Research activities. Communications. Administration. And, most importantly, the time required to document and preserve the work properly.

Preserving Something for the Future
One of SOIRC’s most important responsibilities is preservation.
Digital photographs can disappear. Websites can disappear. Equipment becomes obsolete. Stories become separated from the photographs they belong to. And firsthand accounts can eventually be lost altogether.
We believe these experiences deserve better than that.
Part of our work is therefore about creating an archive capable of surviving beyond the people who originally created it.
A contribution today can help preserve a photograph, experience, record or piece of research that someone may encounter many years from now.
