Terms of Service /Subscription Agreement
The benefits available to members may develop or change as the SOIRC membership program develops.
SOIRC Digital Content Subscription Agreement
1. What you’re getting. Access to the SOIRC digital content library (photography, articles, gallery) via the SOIRC website member portal.
2. Price & term. $11.00 per year. Your subscription term is 1 year from starting [date].
3. Renewal.
- Option A (no auto-renew): Your subscription will not automatically renew. You must re-subscribe before the end of your term to continue access.
4. Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time by [email / portal button / phone]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No fees or penalties apply.
5. Changes to terms. We may update these terms. If a change negatively affects you (e.g., price increase, reduced content), we will notify you in advance and you will have the right to cancel without penalty.
6. Promotional offers. [If applicable: e.g., “Your first month is $X. After the promotional period ends on [date], your subscription will renew at the standard rate of $X/month.”]
7. Refunds. [State your refund policy — e.g., “No refunds for partial periods. You may cancel at any time and will not be charged for the next period.”]
Members may request a refund of their annual membership fee within 11 calendar days of the original membership purchase.
Refund requests must be submitted to SOIRC through the contact method provided on the SOIRC website. Refund requests received after the 11-day period may not be eligible for a refund, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
If a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the membership purchase.
Cancellation of automatic renewal does not, by itself, constitute a request for a refund of the current membership period.
8. This is not a Society membership. This subscription grants access to digital content only. It does not make you a member of the SOIRC society, does not confer voting rights, and is governed solely by this agreement.
